Archer debuts with a field guide to navigating one’s golden years, an inspiration source for men wishing to pursue their neglected—or undiscovered—passions. Reader Reviews!

I love this book! Yes it gives you some great ideas for hobbies but more than that it also can help you find purpose if you feel like you are drifting and a little lost. This book provides a wide variety of suggestions that cover everything from outdoor to indoor, physical to cerebral, and solo to group.

With 50 very much in the rearview mirror, I found this book a comprehensive digest of activities and ideas for 'seniors', some of which I have tackled, some I wished I had tackled in my thirties, but some that I think I'll have a crack at - astronomy, genealogy, plus a few bucket list adventures for starters. This book is ... (See review source)

Airie McCready considers herself, first and foremost, a writer. Her younger years were spent immersed in fine art, computer graphics, and as an art director at Teen magazine. Later, she became an independent contractor directing photoshoots for several large companies.

After her marriage ended, she set off on a journey of self discovery. No longer wanting any of her writing to take the backseat to her ex-husband‘s work, she changed her name.

She has always ended up coming back to her two true loves: cats and books. She is considered one of the utmost experts in Sphynx and Devon Rex cat behavior. Her unique perspective of the feline world has enabled her to help solve behavior problems and discover unique solutions for her clients and their felines.

McCready considers her relationship with her cats extremely deep and spiritual. She refers to herself and her feline family as a symbiotic unit. About her writing, she states, “The joy of a new kitten or cat releases emotions that make me tumble deep down to see who that kitten is on an energetic level as well as how they fit into our world as they grow up. Later, the loss of a beloved member of my feline family triggers what I have learned and what needs to be let go and grieve. Caught in a Cat Romance expresses the polarity of love and grief that any pet lover can understand.”
