Airie McCready

Airie McCready, after earning her journalism degree, took an unconventional path. Instead of journalism, she immersed herself in fine art, computer graphics, and freelancing as an art director. After her marriage ended, she adopted a new name to shed her ex-husband’s shadow. This marked the beginning of her self-discovery journey, leading her to help people understand the profound love and companionship cats offer. Driven by her passion for teaching, McCready has become an expert in Sphynx and Devon Rex cat behavior, believing her deep connection with her felines is both physical and spiritual.

About her writing, she states, “The joy of a new kitten or cat releases emotions that make me tumble deep down to see who that kitten is on an energetic level as well as how they fit into our world as they grow up. Later, the loss of a beloved member of my feline family triggers what I have learned and what needs to be let go and grieved. Caught in a Cat Romance expresses the polarity of love and grief that any pet lover can understand.”
